Mackenzie Davenport is a Writer, Director, and Designer. In 2015 he co-founded Silicon Prairie Theatre, where he served as Artistic Director, most notably directing Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead. He wrote the short play, Fire at Night, produced at Nebraska Wesleyan University, and directed and co-wrote Darts of Glory, commissioned and produced at the Haymarket Theatre. He directed Caligula at Nebraska Wesleyan, where he pursues a B.F.A. in Directing. Mackenzie is the recipient of the Mayor's Arts Award for Youth Achievement, and the Nebraska Young Artist's Award. He is an Associate Designer at Ion Design Co. This semester he is studying German and Film at Freie Universität in Berlin.
