Theatre director Katie Mitchell crafts Live Cinema in order to forward a particular perspective in her work, pushing both theatre and film forward technologically and artistically.

THE WORK
Katie Mitchell has directed Live Cinema, theatre, and opera productions across the world at theatres like Schaubühne Berlin and National Theatre London. Some of her productions include Waves, Orlando, ...Some Trace of Her, and The Forbidden Zone.  Katie is also an author, and wrote The Director’s Craft, which is likely the best book available on theatre direction (in the opinion of this video’s creator).
